Some of the members of our group participated, such as Ms. M\u00aa Dolores L\u00f3pez Franco, Mr. Pedro Luis Pancorbo Hidalgo and Mr. Francisco Pedro Garc\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 During the event:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3129 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mesa2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mesa2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mesa2-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mesa2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mesa2.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Mr. Juan Francisco Mart\u00ednez Castillo<\/strong> presented his Final Degree Work, prized by the Chair of Advanced Studies in Wounds to the best Final Degree Work of the University of Ja\u00e9n, on the terminal ulcer of Kennedy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Ms. M\u00aa Dolores L\u00f3pez Franco<\/strong> presented a lecture on &#8220;Knowledge in prevention of pressure ulcers: a previous step for the improvement of their care&#8221;, presenting part of the results of her thesis: the knowledge related to prevention in UPP held by nurses and auxiliaries from the 7 hospitals participating in the S<a href=\"https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/inv\/proyecto-secoacba\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ECOACBA<\/a> Project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Mr. Juan Francisco Jim\u00e9nez Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, member of the GNEAUPP Advisory Committee, spoke about &#8220;The Role of Advanced Practice Nurses in Injury Prevention&#8221;, with a comparison of the UPP frequency between Primary Care and Social Health Centers for the years 2015-2017.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Mr. Francisco Pereira Becerra,<\/strong> supervisor of the Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery Units of the Ja\u00e9n Hospital Complex, spoke about &#8220;Negative pressure Therapy in the management of chronic lesions&#8221;, explaining the wounds where this therapy can be applied, the precautions we must take when we do it and illustrating the benefits it can generate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Dr. Pedro L.
