{"id":7699,"date":"2025-04-04T10:08:21","date_gmt":"2025-04-04T08:08:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/?p=7699"},"modified":"2025-04-04T10:09:58","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T08:09:58","slug":"simulation-of-emergency-with-multiple-victims-in-the-sports-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cuidsalud.com\/en\/simulation-of-emergency-with-multiple-victims-in-the-sports-hall\/","title":{"rendered":"Simulation of emergency with multiple victims in the sports hall"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last Saturday, March 29, researchers from the Nursing and Innovation in Health Care research group (CTS-464) together with professionals from 061 carried out a practical exercise with drones in the covered sports hall of our university to explore the possibilities of these unmanned aerial vehicles in the field of health emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A simulated scenario with ten victims was set up, in which drones were used to assess the location and condition of the victims using the <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1371\/journal.pone.0242947\">ARTS remote triage algorithm<\/a>, in addition to assessing and identifying potentially lethal hemorrhages. This remote casualty triage system is intended to be useful in multi-casualty accidents where initial access to the accident is impossible or dangerous for rescuers.
