Plymouth University lecturers visit Jaén

Last week two lecturers of pediatrics at Plymouth University, Janet Kelsey and Rachel Carter, visited the University of Jaén through the Erasmus + mobility for teaching and training. During this visit, the lecturers gave 10 hours of teaching to 2nd year Nursing students about care in United Kingdom and children’s environmental health. This visit also set the way for carrying out a research project related to NurSus, Children’s Environmental Health. The main objective of this project is to assess the attitudes, knowledge and skills of nursing students.

Apart from visiting the Universidad de Jaén and knowing how the students work here, they made cultural visits to Jaén Cathedral and the Arab Baths, enjoyed the Jaén gastronomy and visited Granada city.

We are delighted with the educational contribution that your visit has produced and we hope that they and other foreign teachers will visit us again soon.
